Blood Drive

Blood Drive

In 2007, Sewa TT embarked on a noble mission, one driven by compassion and a deep concern for the welfare of Thalassemic patients. The genesis of our Blood Donation Project was rooted in the profound challenges faced by these individuals in securing a consistent supply of blood for their life-saving transfusions.

Through unwavering dedication, Sewa TT has successfully organised numerous blood drives in collaboration with the Friends of the Blood Bank Association. In doing so, we’ve not only fulfilled our mission but have also inspired and aided numerous organisations in conducting their own blood drives. Moreover, in times of natural disasters, we’ve established a robust network of donors and organisations, ensuring that life-saving blood is never in short supply when emergencies strike.

Our objectives are clear and resolute:

Increasing the National Supply of Blood: We strive to bolster the availability of blood for those in need, making it a readily accessible resource.

Promoting Safe, Voluntary Blood Donation: Our commitment to non-remunerated, voluntary blood donation underscores our dedication to altruism and community service.

Fostering Inclusivity: We aim to unite people in a nation-building process that transcends boundaries and discrimination, creating a shared commitment to serve fellow citizens.

Dispelling Myths: We work tirelessly to dispel misconceptions surrounding blood donation, encouraging participation without fear.

Creating a Family-Friendly Environment: We endeavour to make blood donation a family affair, where loved ones can come together to contribute to this noble cause.

Sewa TT’s steadfast support for the Ministry of Health’s Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donation (VNRBD) system reflects their unwavering commitment to altruism and healthcare excellence.
